So I've only just recently played with and like the Rune Priest for my Space Wolves that the interwebs has been screaming at me to use for a while now. I liked him so much that I figured he should have a real model instead of a proxy. My question is about the beard that I've given the model. I wanted the Priest to be an old codger and have a big tangled beard. I've only recently started working with milliput and this is my first attempt at anything hair like.
I know that I've already jumped the gun and primer-ed him, but I'm wondering if the beard looks strange to anyone? I don't mind redoing it, but I'd love to hear any feedback you might have. I can't paint him until I'm sure the beard looks okay! (I'm weird like that)
I think the beard look good. I think it works really well, it might have looked better out of GS but nice use of milliput still. The rest of the model looks fine, he might have benefited more if there were more charms and totems hanging off things, like his staff and belt but they're not a necessity.
