I'm about to prime my Marauders and have 40 of these guys to paint, anyone got a solid color lineup that I can follow? I'm used to painting all plate or Tyranids so I haven't tried skin tones at all and am unpracticed at it. I have almost every color available on the Citadel line so thats not a problem. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I will have to try the scorched brown and two dry brush effect. It is the same amount of steps in my process and maybe it will come out looking even better.
In any case, my fast method is any light to medium skin (Elven or Dwarven Flesh) followed by an Ogryn Flesh wash. Hit it with a dry brush of the light skin color and you are done. I use light skin to start on elves and humans and the medium skin on marauders and dwarves.
Thanks for the advice Andy and MDSW. I'll try both techniques tomorrow and post pictures of my results.
Yes - pics, please!!! We love pics!!!
Sorry people, I've been lazy lately, still haven't tested these out. Its going to be done before the end of the week though.
i go with a basecoat of scorched brown, then tallarn flesh, then dwarf flesh and finish with a wash of ogryn flesh
(quick and simple ) hope this helps.
Can't wait to see them ripply muscles!
Basecoat Tallarn Flesh, wash with Scorched Brown, wash with Dark Flesh, layer back Tallarn Flesh, highlight Tallarn Flesh/Bleached Bone/Fortress Grey, highlight previous with additional bleached bone added until your highlighting extremes with pure bleached bone, skull white highlights for the very final touches. At each highlight stage add a touch of glaze medium and a touch more water to keep the consistency at about 50/50 (if using citadel paints, 60 paint to 40 water if Vallejo game colour).
Tallarn Flesh, Wash with Devlan mud or ogryn flesh, overbrush bronzed flesh, drybrush elf flesh.
