cheers, wish they'd release the next wave already so i didn't feel compelled to spend mass ammounts of money on forgeworld and no longer in production parts! i got 4 of these dudes in my 1750 list, means i need 4 more spyder heads and a whole other tomb stalker. damn

    cheers man!

You can try to use the ball joint parts where an arm will connect to the body from other models. These parts could be clustered together to help make robotic eyes etc. You would need to paint the ball part of the joint as a glowy green eye or some other Necron gadjet. That might help you to deal with the head by making it a mass of eye/scanners.

Good the idea helps. It is something I have used on a Chaos Marine Possessed conversion (Mr Eyeball who sprays eye-juice) before there were any plastic Possessed. I also do similar things to my Tyranids to show bio-targeting symbiotes or 'Bio-Targeters'. Here is a pic of the Possessed I am talking about. He uses The left arm ammo-feed from a Tyranid Warrior venom cannon. However you could easily paint up similar parts to look like metal with glowing or technical orbs instead of eyeballs. That could work for the scanners, diagnostic probes etc which Wraiths will use as they service the Tomb complex.

Triarch praetorian Body Back. If you turn it a certain way it looks perfect for the wraith head. Possibly a bit to large though. Give it a try though.
