Hi, I've got back into painting miniatures and Warhammer after a break of over 15 years!
A friend gave me his master engineer to paint and I thought I'd practice on the dwarf I was given free from GW.
They're not great, but for the first attempt for 15 years I'm proud of the result.
Chaos army here I come!!

Like it mate. I'm out of practise after a month without painting so god knows what I'd be like after 15 years! I'm surprised you didn't paint everything bright colours with red weapons and snot green sand bases drybrushed with bad moon yellow.
thanks, I don't think red and yellow ever entered my colour vocabulary!! sand bases ahhh... Its all come on so much since then. I'm looking forward to picking it all up again. Its funny how the painting styles have changed though -
I'm just surprised I didn't model mullets on them, never mind the bright red weapons and sky blue troosers!
Oh and good bless acrylic retarder.
Looks good, especially after 15 years. You should be able to pick your old skills in no time I wouldn't complain if I had this on my table top though. I especially like the beard, nice to see something other than a drybrushed thing.
