Welcome to Librarium Online!
My current project is a chaos lord on a manticore model. I wanted the manticore to look more like a contemporary lion than most of the super ostentatious and colorful paint jobs I've seen most people do. But, I'm having a little trouble nailing down the tannish color of a lion's coat. Any advice?
I used light yellow over white primer with a Gryphon Sepia Wash (uhhhhh, new color name name now- don't have the 'conversion' sheet in front of me right now...) for a Hippogryph and I really liked the way it came out. If you are extra talented to blend the colors you can probably get what you would like with some of the light brown colors with a tannish yellow highlight. But, for me I wanted a quick wash over a color.
Pretty easy to experiment and see what you like best!
