Here's C. Hoffman and a crew I painted up for him just a little while ago. The magenta is thematic for the whole guild force- all of them have a little bit on them.
C. Hoffman was converted to make him look a little more like a frail little man being carried by the apparatus attached to him (client's request). Mostly, that just meant lengthening the legs and arms a little, and giving it a little bit stronger pose.
Well, here they are:
Not familiar with the range but the bronze looks awesome
Praise be to the Emperor!!
Dude not going to lie, I love this rendition of Hoffman. He looks the inventor and character much more and the paintjob on his face is suburb. I dont comment on paint often but this deserves it. Only feedback is I wish there was a darker wash on the bronze and then another highlight on the edge. I love my models super contrasty, but awesome job none the less.
Thanks. I really felt that the changes to the construct at his back make a big difference- I've felt like the original pose makes the construct look too separate from Hoffman himself.
Pilot00- I forget that not everyone knows the line.
The game is Malifaux by Wyrd Miniatures. Their line of miniatures is beautiful, and the game is pretty innovative (and very small scale- what you see here is actually a full force).
It uses cards rather than dice- which works very smoothly- much better than I had expected. All games are scenario based, and pretty much every mini acts as an independent character.
Those are pretty cool !
