Does anyone have any advice on how best to paint bark for Treekin, Treeman, and Dryads? Thanks!
I've seen dryads range from brown and green all the way to blue and purple. Did you have a specific color in mind?
I'm thinking more along the standard brown you see in GW images. However, I'm thinking of incorporating blue details for eyes and magicy orafaces.
Green details might be cool though too
Right since there's the transition between the old paint range and the new one going on, I'll list paint colors as "old name (new name)"
For the bark I'd start off with a base coat of scorched brown (rhinox hide), followed by a heavy drybrush of graveyard earth (steel legion drab), followed by a light drybrush of khemri brown (baneblade brown).
As far as details go that's really up to you. There's a chart here that has a list of both the old names and new names of a lot of GW's paints. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask
Double post for the lose

I started with a base of scorched brown and then drybrushed snakebite leather followed by a light drybrush of vomit brown. Then for the birch bark parts I went fortress grey followed by a dryb of codex grey then skull white. I have a pic of it somewhere, but not in my fone. I'll upload it when I get home.
