Ok, so...anyone know a good guide/method on this? I am working on a stalker right now, and I have a few spyders and wraiths to complete as well and I need to figure out a good way of mixing paints...how do you do it? I have thought about getting 4 or 5 pots of my base color, and then mixing an entire pot of paint ..adding a little bit more white to each one, but I have never done this and it seems like a daunting/expensive task if done incorrectly. ANY pointers on this would be really appreciated! Thank you.
Depending on the actual power source "item" that you are painting, a very easy and quick way to paint those, especially those new globes that Necron vehicles use, is to base coat them white (off-white works too - I still use Dheneb Stone - best paint ever) and wash them with the old Citadel Green Wash. I am not sure how the new range will work, but the concept stays the same....
Side note on paints - i find that I like the old GW washes more than what other companies sell. Did not use the new range yet....
You could always use a wet pallet. Then you could just mix it when you need it and not have to worry about using up an entire pots worth of paint. I made a tutorial on how to make one here: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...et-pallet.html
