Not sure if this is the right forum, please excuse me if its not.

I am new to W40K and got myself Battle of Maccarace this week, after a couple of bad tries i got the basecoating right (thanks to many a hint from this forum)

So today I start to paint the marines first.
Drybrush the bolters, done.
Drybrush the backpacks done.

Get Blue on the first guy, this is when desaster struck.
The folding table i was using fell apart and all bits and pieces flew, the Dog, my W40K reference books and other stuff good flooded with water and overcoated with Ultramarine blue.

The floor is blue my tools are blue.
Gotta clean up the mess before my wife comes home. Especially the dog......

Anyway, next try tomorrow, just needed to vent.

Well, I hate when something like this happens, but it happens to the best of us, so fear not.

One time I dropped a chaplain I had just spent pretty much all day painting into the cup of brush water I had. That did not end well. And the cat lit itself on fire that day too, so it wasn't pleasant.

At least all your marines are now coated with ultramarines blue

There's a large green spot on my carpet, right next to it a huge brown spot. Super glue has stripped the varnish from my computer desk, and my kitchen cabinets are permanently stained from spilling a can of dipping wood stain on them. :hmm: My girlfriend is about to kill me, :realmad: has hidden most my crafting terrain supplies and forbids me from starting another 40k army. Good Luck with the clean up!!!

Atleast it wasnt a horrible super-glue accident. Those are the worst (and hurt more than paint spills)

Nothing like putting a bunch of work into a model, and then you realize its glued to you and you cant let go. Especially when you wreck it trying to tear it off.
