Shave them. That way they don't have hair.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
for an ok job paint yellow over black undercoat the yellow doesnt cover well so gives them a dirty blond look, alterntively paint dark flesh then drybrush with something like bubonic brown or colour variations thereof, ie grey/light grey,

i paint black hair black, and when dry, i give it a very light brush of snakebite leather... it's still black, but now it doesn't shine, and it looks a little dirty, depending on how much paint you had on your brush when you drushed it...
Ink ink ink
Simply find a color and a matching ink. Paint the color, let dry, and apply a light ink. The tricky part is keeping the ink from getting in places you don’t want it; I normally do the hair before I paint the face.
You can see some samples of my various hair colors all done with this method on my Cult of Seduction on my Dark Eldar Page.
If you have any questions on how I did a particular color let me know.
Just did a ton of marines scouts with diff. colored hair.
Blonde: Bright yellow, then ink with dark yellow
Dirty blonde: Bright yellow, then ink with black
Red: Bright yellow, then ink with red
Black: black, maybe drybrush with dark brown
Looks good to me.

I usually follow:
Grey: Codex grey, drybrushed with Fortress Grey and then skull white
Brown: Scorched brown, drybrush bestial brown.
Black: highlight with 50/50 mix of Codex Grey and Black.
Blonde: Bestial brown, highlight with snakebite leather, highlight again with 50/50 mix of snakebite leather and bleached bone...

For my DE I did them with black hair, then highlighted it to silver.

Blood Red with a few heavy coats of Chestnut Ink or Codex Grey with a few heavy coats of Black Ink is good enough for me.

An easy way of making brown hair is to drybrush brown over black. Don't be scared of drybrushing with a not-so-dry-brush. (Y)Sounds cool archonofdeath! Got any pics? For my DE I did them with black hair, then highlighted it to silver.
