As of late I've been thinking of throwing together a small Night Lords army because I've always had a love of extremely mobile armies.... But the heads on the Night Lords are genuinely doofy looking, the extended batwings are rather odd and are the only reason I don't go out and buy up a swarm of Night Lords.
So what I've been thinking is forming a different type of ears. I'm planning on making the ears somewhat like the bat ears Nightmare from Soul Calibur II has on his helm.
I'm also thinking of going in and adding in some Chaos Warrior parts from WHFB for a couple of the helmets for diversity and such. Aside from this some of the Marines may get much more Archaic armour in places to diversify them, and the add an interesting look to them.
What does everyone think of these ideas.
that would be a major improvement to the night lord's crappy helmets. it would look mad and the archaic armour would top it off!

As far as making the bat wings that's fairly easy as I'm a fairly accomplished sculptor. I'll simply craft a pair out of green stuff and attach them to one head and then make a mold of the first head and cast copies of the head so I'm spared the annoyance of making fifteen or twenty copies by hand.
Sounds like a nice conversion though I don't mind those batwings on the helmets but that is just my opinion, if you want to convert go ahead.
Though it will take some time to get it right, though I'm interested to see how it worked out for ya
Good luck with it
