I need help figuring out how I'm gonna model on the Web of Skulls and Shuriken Pistol for my Swooping Hawk Exarch. Any good ideas?
<span style='color:red'>"Are we not the Wild Riders, the children of the storm?"
- Nuadhu 'Fireheart'</span>

- Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka</span>
I clipped off the lasblaster off a normal swooping hawk at the hands. for the web of skulls i used the hose from the drednought's heavy flamer. i used the skulls from the ends of the flag pole thingie from the space marine sprue. (but i have only 2 skulls )
add a pistol to the other hand and random things to make him look like an exarch.
i have all the SM bits because my brother plays them and i "borrow" bits
for a good net look at the Dark eldar wyches with the shardenet and impailer. The net could have some potential. Also you can look at night goblin netters. I've been pondering this for a while; I think I am going to convert mine from a wych with extra armor, and a head swap. I'm still uncertain about it, but it should work out well.
For making the Web of Skulls Get the chains from dark eldar jet bikes and combine them with heads from the fantasy skeleton regiment box, the pistol is just a hand swap and maybe use a guardaian body and put the exarch head and wings on the guardian body and do a little limb bending if you want a more dyamic pose, hope this helps. -OSD
Pistol should be easy, but could you link or describe to me the web of skulls?
For the pistol take a box cutter, and cut off one of the Exarch's weapons, leaving the hand still attached. Make sure to remove the handle sticking below her hand.
Then cut the pistol in half at the handle and attach to both top and bottom of her already gripped hand.
