I've used Flesh Wash over the skin of some of my guys, and it makes them a bit darker than I'd like them to. I figure I'd make them Vervunhivers ^_^ . But what about Chestnut Ink as a wash over the flesh? What kind of results would I expect from this?
If it's just a tad darker water down your ink a bit and it should do the trick.

for nice skin, i only use 3 colours...a quick base coat of Dwarf Flesh, so i get into all the cracks and crevaces leaving NO black (i spray a black base) showing. then i use the flesh wash liberally. after that's dried i go over w/ a thin, almost dry brush coat of dwarf flesh, leaving all the crevaces dark. and then a quick highlight w/ elf flesh. looks awesome. now if you're looking for a lil darker than that, i'd suggest switching out dwarf flesh for whatever the darker flesh colour is. or maybe after you've put the flesh wash, use an extremely thin coat of dwarf flesh....
that's my two cents at least...

Da' Commissar is adroit with the brush! I use the 3 shade method as well & have always been happy with the results. 3 shades leave your figures skin soft & silky smooth!
