I am starting an Eldar army, as probably all of you know due to my spam...
I ordered a Space Marine Starter Paint Set and got 5 free crappy Space Marines to practice on. I found a thick nail file at my house and wasn't good enough to get in the cracks and tight spots on my model so they're not very smooth. The first marine I painted, I primed it white, then added yellow, red.. and blue... (N)
Then I made a blue and red one on a green platform.
Then stood up a nice pedistal to set them on, angled my desk light and the light on my bedside table to get nice lighting on the model. I tried to take a picture abut 3" from the object with no zoom, and it wouldn't auto-focus. Then I tried being far away with full 10x zoom or whatever and it was still blurry. Its a fairly new digital camera, how come I cant get a clear shot from any distance/zoom?
I really want to post my first two figures on here so you all can laugh and poke your eyes out. My models are all lumpy and stuff from shakey hands and uneven paint jobs.
I hate my paint set.... the bottles are so tiny (6 bottles of like prime colors and no black)
They are like this big...
Look in the manual, it should say wat the distance is u can take photos on, ther may be something on the menu like 'close up on/off'Originally posted by consular@Nov 30 2004, 16:35

If it ain't broke, break it
Go through the options on you camera/in the manual and look for a Macro setting. That should enable you to take close up photos.
