Hi, can anybody give me an approx. calculation on how big a boltgun is in comparison to a space marine? im lookin to build a life size model to display in my room. thanks!

well, seeing as how a marine is about 7 foot tall and about 3 foot wide(shoulder to shoulder), I'd say a bolter would be about one and a half-2 foot long, and about 8-10 inches from the botton of the clip to the top of the gun. And it would be 5 inches wide.

Marines are around 8ft tall arn't they?
Oh and the bolter has a .75 caliber. Hope that helps.
Just measure a marine and calculate the scale he is in, using either 7 or 8 feet as a reference (or 7.5 for a compromise), then measure the boltgun and multiply it with that scale and you have it's length.
If you use metrics, and you should, 7 feet is 213cm and 8 is 244cm.
