I decided to convert my Grotz in my ork army to make each one special. What i want to know is wahts the ebst stuff to use to make things such as hammers or flags and other accesories that will make them look cool. Also can you give me a estijme on price and where i can pick this stuff up. I tried the plastic on the spruce it works ok but not how i want it to.
I have no idea what green stuff is. so as i said in my post where can you get it.
Green stuff is GW's name for two part epoxy putty made by Kneadatite. You can buy it from GW's on line store (expensive) or do a web search for vendors convenient for you.
You mix the two parts together to form a clay like mix used for sculpting or filling gaps. It cures to a hard finish that can be sanded and painted.
As a new 'converter' you might want to start off using bits available from GW instead of trying to sculpt your own...unless you happen to be an experienced sculpter already. Use the greenstuff to fill large gaps and make minor modifications to start out.
Greenstuff is basically modelling clay/silly putty that is designed for use specifically to sculpt additional items onto a model (ie. hair, clothing, wings, etc.) You should be able to to acquire greenstuff (or some generic equivalent) at your local GW or hobby store. Failing that, I would look in arts&crafts stores. No idea how much it would cost though.Originally posted by Mcdohl@Dec 13 2004, 08:21
