Okay, all the folks at the VC forum are telling me go ghouls for my 1000 pt tourney army, and I only got some (at a nice discount, mind you) this last weekend. Any tips on painting them?
They're usually a sickly pink/pallid flesh color. I'm wondering: do I prime them black or white since they're usually a lighter color? What colors make for a good ghoul? Just pink and sickly flesh?
Unlike 98% of the VC army, these critters are alive, just in that "I wanna eat your granny" kind of way, so I don't want them to look as if they've just crawled from their graves.
Black because you can use that for any race and it makes them available for heavy high lighting whereas white doesnt really suit undead. They might look too bright
