you know how orks can have dreadnoughts? why not have a "orked" out space marine dreadnought? have it count as an ork dreadnought! has it already been done? if so id like to see pictures......

There have been many orky-converted vehicles, and i'm sure there have been many SM Dreadnaughts converted for an Ork army as well, however I can't bring one to my mind.

A good idea though, why not give it a go?

Don't see why not... sounds like a cool idea... You should make the front of the Dread 'torn out' so that the ancient Marine inside is gone and replaced by some crude orky cockpit with lotsa levers and stuff...

I'd recommend using a furioso (two power claws) and then adding two weapons at the shoulders.

I'd keep the dreadnought body and legs. The cockpit ideas are nice but I'd change the powerclaws into something more orky.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.

all the above ideas are cool but how about this?

dread legs and power claws with gazskulls blades attached to them.

for the body use the witch hunter penitent engine body (from the waist up).

then attach a mega armored ork head and body to the bodyof the penitent engine green stuff this to fit also attach the arms in the crucifix pattern disa pearing into the buisness end of the dreads arms, this will still retain the original imperial feel of the model but will give the impression that some mad mech has stripped the armour off, and what your seeing is the internal working of the dread.

ps this was off the top of me head so let me know what you think cheers
