As you can see in this thread my color are a greyish catachan green with boltgun metal borders and chaos black with boltgun metal backpack...
I'm trying to picture it in my mind and it seems dull... image a green army that does not feel have that dark feeling to it or that does not have that bright show of colors coming around.
So basicly what I'm saying is that I need a color scheme and I'm asking you all what would be fit for an army called the Brotherhood of steel? I don't really care if they look like what they were in the game just as long as they look good. My army is most probably going to be a big mechanized army with either lot's of bikes and infantry or lot's of tanks (pred's and land raiders) without alot but still some infantry.
What I'm not looking for are color schemes like pink and purple... wich quite frankly annoy me ! I want my army to be taken seriously as it should.
Little help here guys?

i use yellow olive from vallajo paints as my main "army green". its a nice color thats obvioulsly green but not too bright or garnish. Most modern armies colors do tend towards drab though and that might not be a bad look if you want it to seem "real". Bright colors attract gunfire. I would also suggest hard weathering on your veichels to make them look more real. rustlines, wear on the step points, ect. i think your color choices are good and will look fine. Highlighting the green fabrics to give a more worn, faded look may both brighten, and age your troops look.
Brotherhood of steel eh? Why don't you try painting your marines' armor with metallic paints? If you like green, maybe you could have the majority of their armor as boltgun metal, but them use the same green color you were using before for the shoulderpads and other trim. Metallic marines is an aquired taste, but I happen to like them.
I really am great, aren't I?
