An idea blatently stolen from Terragenisis, but pvc pipe and fittings bought at a hardware store can make for some neat terrain. If mounted to a base elevated, it can make for some interesting terrain effects (impassible to bikes and vehicles but not to infantry. Cover like a wall, but does not block LOS).
The stuff can be mounded to a board with a hot glue gun. Simple prime and paint like any other mini. The 'dripping slime' from a broken pipe was done with a hot glue gun.
The pics you added loot pretty nice, but isn't it possible to make the same of other pipes too?
How about making walls out of the pvc pipes... melt them slightly.... and then it could look like a tyranid has "Squirted"(NO LAUGHING! some asid on the wall...
Must... resist... temptation...
Good terrain though.
I live in your eyes
Yes, you can use other pipes, but they are heavier and harder to work with (soldering joints can be a pain). As for teh walls, You can also simply use a hacksaw and cut the pipes in half. They are make out of thick plastic after all.but isn't it possible to make the same of other pipes too?

I agree it does look pretty cool

Sure you can use other pipes too...
I was thinking of the brass or kopper ones...
The difference I see is that these are more possible to modify in different ways, like in adding dents, tears, bullet holes.
Sure you can make the same stuff on a PVC pipe, but the metal ones will look more realistic.
