i cant' seem to get a good mix with the robes on my DA figs, i'm currently toying with dark as DA green, medium as rotting flesh (coz of the green tinge) and some skull white on top. i can't seem to get it on the model properly, any hints on how to do an effective blending job that isn't too hard to do?
FOR THE EMPORER!!
OK standard DA robes are effectively bleached bone -
start with a brown, personnaly I use desert yellow (yes I know I said brown - it pretty much is)
Wash with a a brownish ink -(personaly I use flesh wash)
repaint the brown (or desert yellow if you like)
then blend towards bleached bone
When you get to bleached bone start towards skull white but only go about half way.
If you want green then that is a different matter
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Thx dude but i don't understand what you mean by half way?
plz help! if you got a picture of wat you mean that could help explain but it don't matter if you don't
