Ok, this is my second RBT, the first was ok but lacked the shading and highlights etc . This one gets them, but I've also done a few different things;
Fotress Grey base
Ice Blue wash - Very, very watery
Ghostly Grey highlight
Ghostly Grey & Bleached Bone highlight (sounds an odd combo, but worked well)
Above mix & Skull white
It came out with a kind of blue/white colour, which needed a bit more white. But looks quite good, only the blue in the robe's folds may look a bit too sharp. Maybe I'll try a lighter blue (Ice blue +Skull White maybe).
On the armour you may notice a slight discolouration on the helmets, this is on purpose. I added bit of skull white to Mithril Silver in an attempt to get a lighter silver, looked ok. I was trying to highlight the armour to give it the appearance the sun was shining on it, didn't come out too bad. But requires practice.
Oh, and those who have seen my stuff before... I have decided upon a base scheme. ^_^
Sand > Codex Grey > Fortress Grey drybrush > Skull White Drybrush
Now, onto the pics.
Comments welcome as usual.
I like this one a lot (just like the first one).
