    Sylvaneth: Tree-Revenants

So my third unit is done. This turn out better then I hoped, but it cost me some extra hours of work, more then I liked. Still the result made it worth it, but I don´t feel like painting any more Tree-Revenants, but the army don´t need more then one unit anyway.

A fantastic looking unit Zent. How long did it take you in total?

Well About 65-70 hours off painting, but about 25 hours of that time is the weapons and the banner, I went a bit overboard there. Also about 1-2 hours of airbrush base coloring before I started use the brush. Then the bases took about 10 hours for all 5 including modeling the mushrooms from green stuff. So probably around 80 + building. Not to bad but way to long for 100pts

That is an awful long time to spend on a single unit. It will be worth in the long (LONG!) run however when you have a fantastic looking army. Have you ever thought about entering Golden Daemon?

Well I have been thinking about it, but I have to travel to participate. Also it's a big commitment. Not sure about the rules, if the models have to be unlike for golden demon or not. Otherwise I could spend a few more hours fixing this unit up for the unit category. Then maybe paint something more for another category. Still the last few years I have been painting models for the table top and not showcase
