Except for official GW masterclass terrain tutorials in WD I don't think you'll find any sources devoted solely to Warhammer terrain construction. This is because all the good sites also do stuff other than Warhammer.
I find Terragenesis is a good place for inspiration.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Nice page...they have good stuff...gonna make me a bunker
Hope Is The First Step On The Road To Dissapointment.
foamboard, plywood, and spackle is all you need.

WARMASTER of the SCHOLA PROGENIUM Alnwick Chapter (soon to be the world)
you might want to invest some money in GW's "how to make wargames terrain"... there are many step-by-step guides how to make terrain...
I found that GW's How to Make Wargames Terrain is very good or very poor depending on your expectation going in. Rather than waste pages giving step by step directions to build a house, a bunker, a snow-scaped table, much more detail is spent in learning a wide variety of building materials and how to use them as well as a wide variety of techniques for different effects. In other words, you decide how you want to build your house, bunker or snow-scaped table and the book gives you the knowledge and understanding on how to build it with foam or card or balsa or popcicle sticks and whether it will look wooden, stone, concrete or snowy.Originally Posted by me_meza
I have the book and have found it a good resource as I am in the planning stages for several terrain sets for my various armies, both 40k and Fantasy.
I have not been to terragenesis for a while but have enjoyed looking through wargames-scenery.com. I have started a collection of downloaded pictures to refer to when build my own.
Another possible thing would be to conduct a Google Image Search for keywords such as "snow terrain 40k" and see what others have done. It is possible that there isn't any one site that will have everything you are looking for in one convienent place.
