ive decided to slowly rebuild my army for a totally new look.(im sick of the current csm model) my idea is to buy newly released imp space marines and just chaos them up a little, as im not going to use daemons i dont feel they need to be so spiky and stuff, cause in the fluff they turned against the emperor to show everyone they were tactically best and they display arrogance and are different than all the other legions, and have like mass cultists, for cultists i thought about buying imperial guard models as cultists are taken from each planet they assault, prior to the actual attack they already have devotees, but i want my models too look like they have lots of martial pride and have pride in their wargear and equipment, cadian storm troopers is what ive chosen but i would really like some suggestions

And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Yeah mordheim posessed are a good idea. Acctually anything from the mordheim range. The posessed, undead, mercenaries, skaven(! or sigmarite sisters would all make cool and original cultists. I think mordheim has the coolest models GW has ever made. My favourites are the mercenary models. I've used their heads in more conversions than I can remember.
