I got tons of zombies and ghouls and most of mine are painted badly I 'm looking forward to repaint them as they just look too lame. Any tips or pics or ANYTHING would be appreciated
One thing that you can do is make use of inks and glazes. Also a "blotchy" look to undead flesh is pretty cool. I would probably suggest patch coloring areas with a base of dead flesh and pale flesh. A mix of purple and flesh ink watered down makes a good ink glaze. Tamiya clear red near open wounds makes for an interesting swollen infected look.
I haven't painted up a tremendous amount of undead that I have taken pictures of but you can kind of get a sense of what I am talking about with this picture. Predominatly I am talking about the 2 heads at her side.
Her skin was painted with a base of brown violet (I think) and highlighted up with dead flesh and bonewhite.
