Welcome to Librarium Online!
While assembling my Russ, I forgot to put the turret! Luckily, it hasn't been glued to the body yet, so I wouldn't have to strip the whole thing.
How do I unglue Zap-a-Gap?
if you go to a supermarket or drug store, they should have superglue remover. just ask someone there and they should have it. it was made for geting glue off your fingers, but meh

If it's only superglue a knife inserted in the right spots can split the glue. This technique works better on metal models but the point is cyanoacrylate adhesives can be cracked off.
Just like biting superglue off your fingers.

I'm dyin' here. I've been to a couple of drug stores and they look at me as if it's the craziest thing they've heard. Home-Depot is my next try, then maybe Hobbytown USA.
I've been told Nail Polish remover would do it, but the plastic will melt. Can I dilute it?
The plastic will still puff up if it contacts any solvent (in this case it's the acetone in the nailpolish remover).
As a last resort (but before trying any acetone based solvent) you could carefully cut it apart with an x-acto blade. Cut along the seam and take your time. You should be able to cut it straigth enough to put back together with plastic cement. A little sanding and if need be some green stuff to smooth out the seams if it becomes too apparent.
