Wasnt sure where to post this, anyway
I bought a Vanquiser from forgeworld bulit it and sprayed it black then realised i didnt wash it!!!
So i've got all bits of fluff on the top of the turret!!!!
Any suggestions what to do?
I dipped it it warm water and scrubbed with a tooth brush, but that didnt really do much!
What do you mean by fluff? Like cottony fluff?
Cant find the moddeling forum
But yes bits cottony fluff
Bleh..you're gonna hafta get the paint off. The junk is stuck in the paint itself. I think brake fluid is the best for removing paint and studff. Other then that you're gonna hafta scrape it off, but that could possibly damaged the model. I have this little yellow dog that sheds enough hair to build an entirely new dog on an hourly basis, so I've gotten very good at removing hair and junk from models.I's suggest assembling in a room with no carpet, like a garage or even your driveway.Hard floors don't stir up as much dust when you walk on them.
you can use scotch brite to remove the paint (its the green stuff on those spongey pads you get for the kitchen if you didn't know) and a bit of carefull rubbing as its a resin model it shouldn't scratch at all
