I've started collecting LatD, and I've fallen in love with the mutation sprue in the chaos box. I'd love to make a kill team using each of the heads, but I know GW has already done something similar (it's in the Kill Team section of the rulebook). Any ideas on what else I can do to make them look at least semi-specialist without using GW's models as a template?

I think GWs guys were actually based on possessed CSM.

As for a LatD kill team.. make them a cross between the chaos kill team and some of the Imperial guard ones. You can mix screaming mutants with sinister, hooded cultist types (redemptionists or even the crappy cultist models) and uniformed heretics. The only thing I think is really important with kill teams is variety and character.

One thing I saw done quite well in a chaos army once was basing models on horror movie villains.

    lol, like who?

And the GW models are CSM Mutation Sprue heads, CSM torsos, Cadian legs, various arms, and Cadian backpacks (not sure about the last one). I'll have to have a think.

I have a LatD killteam with Guys which I made from the new Ratskins with a few mutations here and there and they look pretty good.

iv seen that movie villan possessed squad, its khorne and in the chaos collectors guide. it looked class the guy had put haniball, the scream, and the joker of batman in
do not underestimate a sponge, what they lack in movement they make up for in brain power.
