In the battle report "desert kidnap" in U.S. WD issue 301, the IG special weapons team had visors. Personally i really liked the look of them and i was just wondering if anyone had any insight on how these visors were made.
Not tried it myself yet, but I've seen two ways to do visors - both full face.
The first was to simply slice off the nose, and fill the gap in the helmet with GS/putty, and smooth into a visor which is integral to the helmet.
The alternative was to use clear plasticard/Blisterpack plastic and cut out the visors, adding plasticard or GS edges, to make visors that fit outside the helmet. the upside of this version is that you can model visors in different positions, but it's got to be bl**dy fiddly!
