Hey Im doing water transfer to put necron runes on all of my warriors, I am relatively new to warhammer and my friend tells me its just like a temporary tatoo. But mine just keep drying up and sliding off the models. And on the back the instructions arent so helpful
1. Tatoo is on brush
2. Is on model
3. Paint brush on decal
Plz somebody help me out
Power corrupts... Absolute Power is kinda neat though...
What I would recommend with GW transfers is to first gloss the area you are going to put the transfer with a gloss varnish. Then soak the transfer and slide it into place. I would also recommend getting a transfer solvent - such as micro-sol to help melt the transfer and mold it into the shape of the area you are putting it. Micro-sol is simply brushed on once the transfer is in place.
The reason for the gloss varnish is to help mask the edge of the transfers which tend to stick out if you don't do this. Once it dries you can hit it will some Testor's Dullcote and it will take away any unwanted shine.
Hope this helps.
