What glue do u guys use? my glue is very g@y. it wont work, it wont hold any metal things together and i need to use a lot of it. Can you guys tell me what kind of glue yall use and where i can buy it? (well that doesnt matter much)
personally i think the citadel glue is crap. i happen to use a brand called DURO it comes in the yellow and blue package. it works on everything
p.s. dont know if posting brand names is aganst the rules. i;m just to lazy to look.
i use Krazy glue..works wonders..only have to hold a part for like 3 seconds (if plastic) and like 2 minutes (if metal) and just let it sit there for bout 10 minutes, and presto. cheap, to....
Duro is pretty good, you only have to hold it for abaout 10 seconds if it's metal on metal or plastic on plastic. But plastic on metal, it takes almost a half-hour.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>another annoying thing i hate: 47,000 similies in one post. just thoght id throw that in there and see if anybody else hates it as much as i do.</div>
I use krazy glue, its krazy good!!! saddly, one of the small tubes lasts me alot longer then one of the citadels larger (and more expensive, and not as good imo) glue things...
I actually think that the Citadel glue is quite good. Of course if I glue something and it comes apart, then I stop being lazy and pin it......
I use industriel strength metal works glue from school (get any on your fingers, say bye bye to your skin) gloves are needed though
Most cyanoacrylate based glues (all the 'superglue' brands) are good for sticking small figires or epic vehicles together. For larger items, I'd use a two part epoxy glue like Araldite or somesuch. You just need to make sure the item is well clamped together when using epoxy, to give it time to set.
personally I use loctite glue. It sticks really well, and its also very cheap.
I use three sets of glue..
PVA for basing..
Superglue for metal
GW Plastic Glue for plastics.
That's actually maybe why your metals aren't sticking. That happened to me earlier today. I was wondering why a metal joint wasn't sticking, and realised that I was using plastic glue instead of superglue.
Plastic glue works by melting the plastic, so it doesn't really work for metal.
