Anybody know any great ways to make a squiggoth ?
or even good dino toys taht can have some add ons to it? XD?!
I am in the process of thinking of feral orks.. and
these beasts will probably be hte hardest to convert XD.
Thought of Forgeworld? They have one.
Go to your local toy store and looks for plastic beast like elephants, rhino's or dinosaurs
if you are willing to spend the mnoey then obvious FW is the place to be.
Star wars!. They got those large looking beasts that look ALOt like squiqs thig is there quit old dunno if they still sell it. And you need to put the armour plating on it etc.
However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.Learn from yesterday.
Live for today
Hope for tomorrow
toy dinosaurs seem to be a favorite, as the forgeworld model is freaking expensive, but i've got a third option: paper mache
as soon as i find a digital capera to use i'll post my WIP Gargantuan squiggoth (2 feet long)
so far so good
I built one for my cousin using a big T-Rex i got for a toy store. Nobody evers said Squigs have to be quadrapedal, it just says they're dinosaur-like. A little green stuff, some paint, and strap somethin' orky to its back and you got yourself a squiggoth!
if youve got £50 just use the mumakill from LOTR, its big enough, stick loads of armour and shootas on the howda, put orkish 40K acessorys oll over it and youve got a squiqoth, although you might want ot take of the truck and model a more fearsom head.
!!! you beat me to it.
I just noticed it... THX A BUNCH THOUGH!
seeing how the mumakil has a back thing.. just need some more green stuff make it look more.. orky and more ork bits..
will be a large project.. but i'll love it.. XD.
sounds cool make ure you you add LOADS of armour, use a peice of think plasticard to cut plates of solid steel
good luck with the project and be sure to post pics as you progress
