Welcome to Librarium Online!
Alright, I'm in need of some sprays and paint pots for my army - but of the exact same color. GW doesn't do sprays beyond the standard couple of colors, and despite a friend's suggestion, I can't locate anything that says Vallejo does either.
Anyone know where I can get a spraycan & paint pot with the same color in it? Preferrably using a similar system to Citadel or Vallejo paints.
I have not heard of a model paint company producing both sprays and pots other than the already mentioned few from GW. I think you will be out of luck. Your best bet is to color match as close as possible between already established sprays.
Or invest in an airbrush. Citadel colours (and Vallejo) will go thru an airbrush very easily, as long as you dilute them and maybe add a little acrylic flow improver (from an art-shop).
Try and get a double action airbrush if you can afford it, with a large paint hopper. A simple compressor shouldn't cost too much these days.
Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
I've been thinking about buying an airbrush. Are they worth it? Or just about the same effect as a spray paint can?
Sorry to go off topic.

I don't have an airbrush - but "worth" is very relative. There is a semi large up-front investment on the equipment. From what I understand the airbrush is finer than what will come out of a spray can - as well as being more controllable. Other than basecoating on smaller figures I have seen them used quite a bit on larger vehicles. Especially when painting camoflauge patterns.
