I will be playing a Tau army in the foreseable future, but i heard that those figures tend to be very prone to damage, as they snap off at their feet.
I would like to prevent regular repairs and reinforce them or something like that.
Does anyone has some ideas how to do that, or experience with it?
i'm looking for a rather detailed describtion on how, what materials are best, and needed ( drills etc) etc.
O.K. as the main snapping point is the anke, it might help if you have a bit of wire going strainght through the leg and into the base. all you will need is a pin vice (a small hand drill) and some wire (paper clip will do). all you have to do is rill up into the leg after attaching the feet, then stick a length of wire in that can be stuck into the base, which will also have a hole drilled into it.
if you are reading this signature, then you are wasting you're time, and i am wasting my time by writing it, so run along now, jimmy, run along.
Yeah. Either pin the legs, use a clear plastic rod (often used on flying bases) or both.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
yeah if you don't want to spend all your time fixing them just have them flying
