Hi, I am currently working on a duel for golden Daemon this year, and i was wondering how to make a Rapier sword, any ideas?
Actually, a really easy way is to use a dremel tool and a grinding bit to carve one out of a chunk of sprue. I've made a few this way, and they aren't that bad.

Sounds like a good idea, Pictures would be great (if you have them). I have also been thinking about using a pin or a needle, but these tend to be difficult to cut without large amounts of damage to tools so I am not so sure. What do you think?

actually I'd just cut a short length of heavy gauge copper wire for the blade and make the hilt as bunnies suggested, just file the tip of the heavy copper wire into a point and you're done
