Hey I am about to paint my 3 land speeders, and was wondering what colour I should paint the undercarriage! I see some that are black, some silver, some even the colour of the chapter. I have primed them with Blood red spray (BA) and they are now ready to paint.
So what looks the best? Red under undercarriage, silver undercarriage, black undercarriage, or a different one that wasn't mentioned?
I usally do the bottom of any vehicle black but since land speeders are higher off the ground Id do it the chapter's colour.

I just painted my first model what happened to be a Landspeeder Tornado. I painted most of the outer body with Chaos black spray and an Ultramarine Blue Drybrush to make it look worn but still Ultras.
I will show a pic asap of it.
The bottom of my speeder was drybrushed with Ultras Blue and then used Boltgun metal on the raised areas and the back turbines.
paint it silver or black since the engine of the land speeder is located there and hte engine is usually silver and sometimes black.
I'd paint it black and drybrush it with Boltgun Metal.
Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me.
