ive just completed a chaos 40k conversion of the yu-gi-oh character the dark magician (and yes i know im almost 30 i stumbled onto their site.) And i was wondering where do youse draw your inspiration for your conversions? do you like me just come up with the idea or do you build your conversions to fit a certain theme?
WARMASTER of the SCHOLA PROGENIUM Alnwick Chapter (soon to be the world)
i sometimes like to do concept sketchs where i can combine differnt ideas floating in my head and see what it will look like.
i also ocasionally just do somthing half way through a conversion, sometime i start a model with no idea what its going to look like and make it up as I go along with parts from my extensive bits box etc.
at the moment, my curent IG army is heavily roman/greek themed, with crest on the helmets, cloaks, roman style shileds etc etc.
I enjoy looking at regular military models. Usually I'll see something that sparks my imagination, then buy it and begin.
My blast template of S10 AP2 will toast all terminators.
