The pictures are big and in focus, and as cheredanine reminds me not very flattering to a painters efforts... which I agree with. But I hope you guys get the jist of what i'm showing you.
The wolfpriest uses a technique i'm perfecting for marine armour, some of you would have seen this on the tigurius I recently produced for Bryan. Well realising how hard it is to highlight black effectively, I thought I'd try it out on my wolf priest. And once again I was suitably impressed with the results.
The ultramarine chaplain is a comparsion to how I use to highlight black armour, and the wolfpriest is the new method.
Verdicts and opinions please.
Superb as always, G.
I love the Chaplain's base and the Wolf Priest is just um.. great! - It's too good for words :p -
Keep up the good work Gareth.
Oh wow, that model is choice! I like the armour, how it is metallic without metallics. Very good job!

Very nicely painted, especially the preist. The gold on the chap i dont like. It just lookes abit wishy washy, but thats probably the look you wanted, but its just my personal taste.Very nice preist though seriously, way better than the chap which is very good anyway! The mask on the chaplain is cool aswell,i like it.Look forward to one day seeing some more of your work.

There is some poor quality army stuff in there (13th company) but some nice little projects also...
Brilliant as ever, Gareth. I don't understand how you can call it poor quality.
Damn! If only I could paint detail like that...
Very nice... good job!

Some very, very nice work of yours there. You are a very good painter especially at details. My favourite in your gallery is your bloodclaws.I do know i just love them, and you have painted them very, very nicely. Some of your conversions are great aswell.
Sweet job on the Wolf Priest! I am doing a dark shade of grey on my 13th, and I think if I can manage to do the kind of work you do I will be quite happy. I need a lot of practice though...

Incredible work, Gareth! I especially like the NMM Wolf Priest, as I have been studying black cars for about 2 weeks to truly appreciate NMM black for a project I am currently painting! Thanks for the example! I like the range of minis that you have painted, as well. Your painting is both detailed and well-planned. Great work!
