    Dioramas

Im looking to do a diorama, any ideas? It could be anything. I would also like it if u have pics of dioramas to share. Thx

You must be like the Ocean, not the Tiger. The Tiger might spring at a mountain and claw the ever living crap out of it, but it is the Ocean who will slowly wear down the Mountain.

Do you have a spare Carnifex?

I wouldn't waste a new carnifex on a diorama unless you find a way to pop it in and out. Go with something like a warrior because they are way more action-ish and can be posed almost any way you like, which makes a diorama a lot more dramatic.

I find tile bases make the best diorama, because they look old and worn, and can also be made very easily with sheet styrene.

    Carnifex

I'm thinking of doing one with a Carnifex, nothing else would really work with what I'm going for. If you're looking for ideas, look on bolterandchainsword.com, in the archives, for a thread about people's diorama etc. ideas that they never got to do. I'm thinking of doing some of them.

OK I generally stay away from Diaramas, they take a long time and I tend to los impetus, this summer I have been tasked with producing a centre piece for a games day table, it comprises a captured hive tyrant (with a Forgeworld sentinel Power lifter either side, to which it is yoked, with pipes draining its gun and pumping sedatives into it, it is on a melting snow base (a CD) with the sentinel bases either side and it is half standing in a pond.

I still have one sentinel to complete , thus far it has taken me over a month and a half to complete and has completely ragged any other painting i would like to do for myself, I am now almost reseting having to do it
