Currently i am in the process of a complete repainting of my army. (my first color scheme didn't wor for me) Now i am at a crossroad, my main color for my troops is catachan green... them i'm stuck for the edges of the shoulder pads, helemt, etc. color.
I need a good color to paint my SM guys that goes well with catachan green, thank you for your help.
a bone color or possibly a shade of brown.

I dont think Brown is a good colour, it'll look too much like Camo.
I've always been partial to Scab Red, its a fairly dark red, it would look striking with catachan green, scab red is to blood red what chatachan green is to goblin green, so neither of them are shiny and bright.
Well with Catachan Green its quite a neutral tone, and theres not many way you can complement it well (as In my opinion complements schemes are a must for Marines), if you want to stay clear of bone (which would be my first choice) I would suggest maybe nice Shining gold with blocks of black here and there. Would look pretty regal I think.
