This is one of my first posts here, so don't I feel special. Back to bussiness.

I'm collecting steel legion IG. What are good paint schemes for the steel legion? I'm thinking grey fatigues, black armor, brown gloves and mask. While your telling me anyway it could be great if you gave me some painting advice in general, as I suck at painting in general (except for vehicles, which I'm good at which is why I play steel legion).

Thanks in advance.

The steel legion look best in ver neutral colours - browns, greys etc. Try to choose two or maybe three main colours and stick to them for your entire army, as a unified army looks best.

Also, try to keep everything simple for now. If you arn't great at painting, then try to paint with block colours (no need for fancy highlighting or shading yet) and make sure you keep it neat. Once you have the basics down, you can move on to more advanced techniques, but not before.

All you need is Snakebite Leather, Bestial Brown, Scorched Brown, Boltgun Metal and Black and White. Then paint their cloaks Scorched, heavy drybrush of Bestial, light drybrush of Snakebite and there you go. Do guns in Boltgun, and details in Black and White. That's my friend's color scheme that I helped figure out, and it works out quite nicely.
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.
