I dont like the green color of the elves and i wanted to do something like a winter or night scheme but i cant find colors that look good and give me the image i want. I am a very painter but i cant think of a scheme i will take any sugestions.
For the winter, whites, greys, and blacks and dark greens can do a very good look if you have the skill it takes alot of shading to pull off, but will be rewarding it done the right way.Originally Posted by Commissar
For nights, dark greys, blacks and shades of green do well.
Have you seen the White Dwarf that has the different palettes. Between it, the codex, and the glade guard painting gallery on the GW website, you can find a lot of ideas. I used schemes in the codex and one of the WDs to get really nice results on my first unit of GG. I stuck with the summer colors, though. I'd like to try out the autumn ones, even if it makes my army lack visual unity.Originally Posted by Commissar
Wolf-pack mentioned the basic colors. I'd also use soft blues, highlighted with shadow grey, which has a blue tint to it.
Sorry folks this is a painting question, please keep these in the correct forums. Help make my job easier eh?
