Uh I didnt know where to put this:
Ok guys I had to use super glue and it has worked quite well, as I "post" the green stuff is drying my hurricane bolter system together so I have a question
I screwed up the little thing that makes both doors open at the same time, and now the bottom one doesnt even shut its about half-way open, any tips on how to fix this problem?
Keep in mind its about 80% done
One more question
With the hurricane bolter system can you rapid fire?
Right - the hurricane bolter on the LRC is a rapid fire weapon. The rules state that it never counts as moving for rapid fire. That's the range and shots part done.
Therefore the hurricane bolter can be used whenever a defensive weapon can be fired (see chart on page 63). However don't forget the Machine Spirit power comes into effect if your stunned.
As for the door mechanism, you'd have to pry off the outer part of the left side of the tank to get at it and fix it. If you've gotten any glue on the little doohickey, you've got a problem on your hands. Is the door stuck in place or can you push it up and down with your finger?

It moves perfectaly fine it just doesnt latch onto the top one
Then the bottom of the doohickey didn't go over the lower door's peg. You'll have to pry the side off like I said and make sure the doohickey (lever) is over the pegs for both doors. If you've glued the side on already, I'd say you're in trouble.
EDIT: Oh, do you mean it moves with the top door to a certain point (halfway) then stops?
The doohickie broke......
the little train wheel thingy is no more...
The top closes fine but gravity wont let the bottom one stay up touching the top.
Hmm, that is a problem. The only thing I can think of is inserting a pin in the top door that fits into a hole drilled into the bottom door, holding them together when shut. It would look a little weird but it would work (I've seen it done to Rhinos to help their side doors stay shut).
That door opening mechanism on the LRC is a real bastard. I live in constant fear that one day it will snap, and I'll have to rip apart my hard-made tank to fix it. Another way to get to it is by removing the L1/R1 section of tank track on the front. It has less acessability, but saves you ripping the whole damn side off to get to it.
Seeing as you have already broken it, I don' think I can really help now.
I don't know what country you live in, but in the U.S. and England you can order certain parts seperately I think.
I wish you could do that here in Australia...
