The reason I took this to you guys instead ofput it in the tau forum was because I was wondering what colors you guys thought these were. I am not very good with colors so I have no idea what shade of red this might be. The link below will take you to the page with a pictue of the battlesuit on it. Please post here what shade that you think the red is. Thanks!
ALSO: Here's a link to a Space Marine Chapter Gallery: Chapter Gallery . I was wondering what colors the color scheme of the Raptors uses and what shade of yellow is used on the Scythes of the Emperor. Thanks!

Thats a nice paint job on the Crisis suit!
In the Tau Codex, there are panels picked out on the standard Vermin Brown suit, and these are done in 50/50 Scab Red and Scorched Brown, with the edges picked out in Bleached Bone (Frankly I think this highlight is a mistake in the book. They have surely used something like Blood Red. Bleached Bone makes a perfect highlight for Vermin Brown, but looks awful as a highlight for a dark red).
The Marines, from the 3rd Edition codex - The Raptors are Camo Green, and although they don't show the yellow of the Scythes, two similar chapters are both done in Golden Yellow.

Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
my guess, is scorched brown up to scab red, and scab red with blood red mixed in for highlighting.
Wouldn't that be red gore? Scab red is more purple than that.
They could have mixed the bleached bone with the red and get highlighted edges as seen in the picture. You are right though it does look too red to be bleached bone by itself.Originally Posted by Hard Aun
