I have just finished painting my Kroot, except I havn't highlighted them. I was wondering what color I should use. I black primed my kroot, and then painted the skin Midnight Blue, it looks sort of purple.
I hope people are having fun.
The ice blue or enchanted blue can make it stand out, or a lich purple.
What I've done to give it a nice reflection is a light shining gold drybrush, more along the lines of dusting, hightlights well, but takes a bit longer.
You could just lighten or Darken the Midnight Blue and use the new colour that you have.
This wouldn't look that good but it may be okay.
If your done first, you're the winner.
a good way to make kroot look nice is to drybrush the skin camo green after a dark bluish colour. then drybrushing their guns and clothes mithril silver looks very nice. in my opinion kroot are some of the best models for painting
