i've just made this lord of chaos on chaos steed..
its all made of plastic over a days work..
what do you think?
for more pictures, check the gallerie in 'hordes of chaos'.
Nice conversion! He reminds me of Archaon, did you take inspiration from him?
Love the colour scheme and especialy the shield. By the way, what you use for the axe ?
MEAT IS MURDER
thats wicked. i love that sheild
If i'm not mistaken, you've used the same axe as used by Tammy Haye in the aspiring champion of khorne juggernaut miniature in the showcase section of the chaos space marines codex. I couldn't find it in the online store though, so am not sure what model it comes with, looks damn effective though. The conversion work you've done looks realy good, and suits the chaotic feel appropriatetly, and I especially like the wolf head slung across his left shoulder. The shield has also been painted very nicely, and stands out against the deeper red offset tone on the model. Great work ,
Pretty cool but I think the armour on the horse needs a silver highlight like Mithri Silver or Chainmail. Apart from that it is a very decent looking model
If your done first, you're the winner.
I really like the model, but the wolf head just seems wrong, out of place somehow.
thanks for the nice comments..
i can tell u that the axe is all homemade.. converted plastic form the warriors box..yeah. im glad you said it, cause i've thought of making the armour boltgun metal with chainmail highlights..Pretty cool but I think the armour on the horse needs a silver highlight like Mithri Silver or Chainmail. Apart from that it is a very decent looking model
but thanks again
ya its sorta looks unfinished there is too much black. it needs some more recognizable colours
Wow! I really like your Lord of Chaos. Nice conversion and nice painting!
