I finally finished up my new bloodbowl team! They are Nurgles Rotter's but I decided to change the color scheme and the name - so they are now Nurgle's Pox Eaters. I currently don't have a beast of chaos so the team consists of 4 Chaos Warriors and 11 beastmen.
I decided to go with a dirty orange an camo green uniform. I accented this with white for the shirts on the chaos warriors.
For the chaos warriors flesh I started with pale flesh and then washed with a purple/red ink wash. I highlighted this back up with pale flesh mixed with a touch of blue ink.
For the Beastmen I wanted a sickly palor to their skin. I started with a beasty brown base highlighted it up by mixing earth and bone to the base color, inking with a purple/flesh ink wash and then highlighting it up a touch with earth/bone mix. Hair was given a thin highlight of earth mixed with green ink for a very subtly green tinge (it is almost not there).
As these are game figures meant to be played I didn't spend all of eternity on them. I think they turned out very well for what they are and I can't wait to field them! I tried to get as much detail as I could without really bogging down my time. I painted them assembly line style (no unique butterflies) and worked on them on/off for the last month. Estimated time on them is somewhere around 12-18 hours.
Comments, suggestions, and critiques are always welcome!

A Superb Bloodbowl Team. I've seldom seen it's equal.
Terminator Based Custom Chapter
Well I'm sure I can't come up with such a sophisticated comment to follow wolfkin's witty quip so let me just say, Good job!
Sophisticated? Witty quip?... I can assure you, I was quite serious.
I have seen many Bloodbowl teams (although not so recently) and this is one of the best I've seen.
I think sometimes when complementing people it is best to be to the point, which is exactly what I was.
Thank you for the kind words. It is a pity that bloodbowl was regulated down to the specialist games and sees only a minimal amount of light as it really is a very fun game (especially if you can work yourself into a league). It is hard to find much in the way of pictures of peoples bloodbowl teams to begin with!
Soon I will work up a beast of nurgle to round out the team. I may craft a star player as well.
not that this has anything to do with painting - I had my first game with this team the other day and had my @$$ handed to me by an orc team. Oh well.
It really wasn't that bad (lost 1-0) to an orc team. But it was fun non-the-less.
Now back to painting!
These are a very good looking team. The colours used seem very filthy, grimy and sick. Nice useage there my friend. Keep up the good work.
A very impressive and good looking team!
Altough I'm not a fan of Blood Bowl, I love to see what kind of things people can do with their teams!
