I am not too sure, but I would hazard a guess at Snakebite Leather.
It's scorched brown. I did it for my LotR stuff.
But for Warhammer 40k? I just checked the Games Workshop website under the "How to paint Orks" section (a subsection of the Orks section) and it looks more like Snakebite Leather to me. Scorched Brown seems to be a bit darker.
In Codex: Eldar, bottom of page 23, it displays a base, the picture being titled, "Desert World". In addition, it says "... but you can use Snakebite Leather for battles on desert worlds, or ...".
The newer basing is all Graveyard earth. Some of the older models have Snakebite or Scorched brown, but the ones in the lateset WD are all Graveyard.
