I got this idea from the September 2005 issue of WD. In that they have a section where various gamers showcase their bitz boxes. So, what does your's look like? What sort of stuff does it have in it?
I spent the past 55 minutes creating a bitz box for my Army of Sylvania. I'm sure there is more stuff for me to put in it but for now it is done aside of labeling the compartments. Below are photos of the bitz box.
This is what I cut and clipped from for most of the stuff in the bitz box. Not that many sprues huh?
This is a photo of my AoS bitz box with the lid open. It is one of the plastic tool compartment cases by Stack-On you can get from Wal-Mart.
This photo shows the bottom right corner of the bitz box. Going clockwise from left to right we see some WiP Militia top left, WiP Levy, Fell Bats & their flying bases, Zombie bitz from all the Zombie sprues, various Shields and shield emblems including ones from the Skeleton Box and Dwarf Warriors plus Tomb Kings and Dwarf Ironbreakers and of course some old Chaos Warrior shields (the ones right before the new Chaos Warriors), Skeleton bitz from the Skeleton box, plastic bag containing coffin and rider and such for the Black Coach, and WiP Grave Guard Command including components for some conversions.

This blurry photo shows the top left corner of the bitz box. Going clockwise from left to right we see Von Carstein Vampires (two on horseback with one in each pose) plus one on foot all WiP. Under that are the WiP Militia, WiP Levy, WiP Black Coach, and WiP Grave Guard Command.
When TXG starts I intend to add to the bitz box. I also hope to expand it with Empire and Bret bitz.
Ha! You have the same exact bits box as me! That's funny.
Anyhow, I actually have about three of those red boxes filled up, but that's great to see that I'm not alone.

Speaking of contents, what do you have in your's and do you have photos?
Mine is two boxes - i use the Chaos Predator and Chaos rhino boxes, they're loose bits not on sprues and the boxes dont close. They contain random Chaos, space marine, Chaos fantasy, Goblin, Eldar, Ork, and Tyranid bits. Wow, i've made some mad freaky models with those...
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.

I have a separate toolbox for each of my armies, so the spare bits go in the compartments at the top

I have a wooden chest the size of an average drawer, and all my bitz are mixed together.
It's a hell to find a specific part when I need it, but really funny when you find out you have 3 plasmaguns when you thought you had 2.
Chaos does not need explaining! guess what? Chaos cannot be explained!Originally Posted by BobaHat
I keep all my bitz in a 'West Coast Choppers' mug.
For the bitz themselves.. I have mostly Imperial Guard bitz, some tyranid bitz, and a few Ork, Catachan, Zombie, and possesd bitz.
All my bitz are in a old brettonian 'duke on a hippogrpyh' box, simply for the fact it has many compartments in the foam, and I had no ther use for it. It's benn fairly adequate for my bitz. I have assorted brettonian and Imperial guard bitz in it, from spare parts from a cadian box (you won't believe just how many extra bitz you get from those things!) and the brettonian box set.
Also some grey knights shields, and various imperial guard, space marine and old and new brettonian transfers. And many, many bits of plastic from sprues and such, which I one day hope to put into use for making scenery. Eg. those blsck crosses that hold the WHFB square bases on them could be used for barbed wire if you run wire between 2 of them.
1. Whole 40k 3rd edition starter kit box filles with Space marine and Chaos Marine plastic sprues
2. Ravenwing Bike Squad box which is nearly filled with:
a ) a bag containing loose bits
b ) two plastic packages filled with all the metal bits I have (packages came from Ravenwing and Iron Hand boxes)
c ) smaller bags containing all my moulds for GS-casting and things like already casted Purity Seals and whatnot
d ) old Combat Squad box that holds all the bases
3. Skeleton Warriors box, still mostly complete.
